This week on L.A. Theatre Works, a gripping North Florida tragedy of racial prejudice. Tune in this Sunday, May 30 from 7-9 p.m. for Ruby McCollum, based on a case that journalists Zora Neale Hurston and William Bradford Huie investigated in 1952.

In a small town in Florida, a reporter risked his life investigating a shocking murder case. Why did a wealthy African-American woman kill her white lover, the town’s beloved doctor, over a bill for his services? An investigative reporter tries to uncover the truth in a town full of secrets.
