RNC Chairman Reince Priebus Issues the Call to the 2012
Republican National Convention
WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus issues the Call to the 2012 Republican National Convention:
"On behalf of the Republican National Committee, I am proud to officially issue the Call to the 2012 Convention. The Call is an invitation to the Republican voters of America to participate in our Party's process for nominating our candidates for president and vice-president by selecting delegates to the Republican National Convention to be held in August at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa Bay, Florida.
“I would like to thank Priscilla Rakestraw for her hard work as the Chair of the Committee on the Call, as well as the 168 Republican National Committee members who helped to approve the final Call to the convention.
"Under the leadership of the Committee on Arrangements, headed by Chairman Alec Poitevint, preparations for a world-class convention are well underway. When our convention begins on August 27, our 2,286 delegates and 50,000 convention-goers will find an event worthy of the next President of the United States.
"The St. Pete Times Forum will be transformed to offer an unparalleled convention experience, while the neighboring Tampa Bay Convention Center will provide the media workspace.
"We look forward to welcoming our delegates and attendees to Tampa Bay in August, as we continue our important work of sending a Republican president to the White House."

I'm not a republican supporter but this really isn't a big deal. The change is pretty recent. I'm guessing you guys don't have much to report on if this is considered news.

They just can't help themselves. They cater to the Occupy slackers and wonder why they can't hit pledge targets in the Spring and Fall. Meanwhile they do everything they can to alienate those that have cash to give. Won't be long before the station goes belly up.
I'm the slacker

The occupy protesters aren't the slackers. It's me and everyone else who doesn't go out and get active at trying to make a difference that are the slackers.

You can make a difference by becoming a productive, contributing member of society. Holding a sign, sleeping in a tent and complaining does nothing.

If you think protesting does nothing. History would like a word with you.

When the “protest” has a specific goal to ACHIEVE… the protester has done much for this country and for history. However… when the protest has no goal or direction to speak of… it’s called anarchy!!! And history would like to WARN you…
