Radio Play about the Nuclear Age on HD3

This Sunday, March 21 at 7 p.m., you can hear the full-length play, The Physicists, by Friedrich Dürrenmatt. The Physicists asks what it means to be sane, in a world driven mad by the threat of the Bomb.
L.A. Theatre Works presents this classic satire, starring Bruce Davison and John de Lancie as patients in an asylum - who believe they are Albert Einstein and Sir Isaac Newton. But neither of them is insane, as an investigation into the murders they've committed shockingly reveals.
Informed by the Second World War and advances in science and nuclear technology, The Physicists deals with questions of scientific ethics and intellectual responsibilities. It's one of the most impressive and most easily understood works of the Swiss writer Friedrich Dürrenmatt, first performed in 1962 and still popular.
