RECYCLE YOUR OLD ELECTRONICS

If you've got old or broken electronics, don't thrown them in a landfill. You can bring electronics and pretty much anything with a power cord to the radio station before Earth Day, and we'll make sure they get safely recycled, thanks to Creative Recycling Systems in Tampa.

If items can be reused, they'll wipe the data off and donate them to schools or sell them at low-cost to small businesses. If it's not reusable, they'll dismantle it into component parts, since many pieces can be used again in the construction of new electronics. What can't be reused, will be safely recycled without putting toxic materials back in the earth.

Here's what can be recycled - http://www.crserecycling.com/services/acceptable-material.html. Just hover over each type of item, for more details.

You can bring items to WMNF through Earth Day, April 22. If it's after hours, just ask the DJ to let you drop items off inside.

Thanks for helping.
