For most of her 106 years, Rosa Rio has been fully involved in the theatre - starting out as a silent movie organist, then as Orson Welles' organist on his radio mystery, "The Shadow." She was Mary Martin's accompanist who helped her audition for Cole Porter, and the first woman hired by NBC as a musician.

Tune in today as she tells Tara Schroeder how it was being a silent movie organist when the talkies moved in - and how she got that job at NBC.

Edited by Sheila Cowley

Rosa Rio will be telling stories, performing classic songs and improvising the score to Buster Keaton's "The Electric House" this Sunday, Feb. 15 at 3 p.m. at Tampa Theatre.
