You might have heard that WMNF is launching the first-ever Talking Animals Festival, April 11 from Noon to 5pm, at the Lowry Park Band Shell.

It's a FREE event, featuring about a dozen local bands playing animal songs, a major pet adoption component, $10 microchipping, low-cost pet vaccinations, animal art, food, drink (did someone say beer?), fun and more.

AND...tables where animal groups and other organizations can provide outreach, and vendors can sell products & services--many will be pet-related, but not all. We invite your organization to table, and your business or service--or maybe you're an artist?--to be a vendor at the Talking Animals Festival.

Don't delay--the deadline is approaching. You can get more information & download the forms at http://www.talkinganimals.net/Festival/index.html

If we can answer questions about the Festival, or otherwise help, please e-mail talkinganimals@wmnf.org. Thanks.

I just checked out the page--looks good. I like that this festival is free to attend & that so many things are going on, like $10 chipping, which is a great deal& will bring a lot of customers. We're sending our paperwork in tomorrow. thx

Talking Animals Fest

This will be Sunset Bridge's first WMNF event and I am excited to be involved.....and.....I LOVE DOGS!

buyer beware

'Scuse me - I am disappointed that low cost pet vaccination is being offered in conjunction with a radio station that is progressive in other ways. - Vaccination - and especially over vaccination is a serious threat to the health and well being of pets and people. Are these pet's health status being assessed before they are being given one or often more than one vaccine ? Vaccine insert states only healthy pets should be vaccinated. Are you ready for liablity (legal and moral) for those susceptible individuals who subsiquently develop adverse reactions? Other than that I am very excited that this WMNF - Talking Animals sponsered pet fair will be happening and plan on being there.
