Tune in to the Source this Sunday, July 4 at 7 p.m. for Top Secret: the Battle for the Pentagon Papers on L.A. Theatre Works.

In the late 1960’s, a classified U.S. government study of the Vietnam War concluded that the war was unwinnable.

One of the study’s contributors, Daniel Ellsburg, decided that the public needed to know the truth, and he leaked the study to the press. The result shook America and challenged the First Amendment, as you’ll hear in Top Secret: the Battle for the Pentagon Papers.

Written by Geoffrey Cowan and Leroy Aarons, this full-cast drama features Diane Adair, Bo Foxworth, John Getz, James Gleason, Gregory Harrison, John Heard, Charles Janasz, Raphael Sbarge, Russell, Soder, Susan Sullivan, Peter Van Norden, Tom Virtue and Geoffrey Wade.
