WMNF's New Butterfly Garden

Many thanks to WMNF volunteer Gail Carroll, who planted a butterfly garden near the station's picnic table. The native plants she used to feed and attract butterflies are labeled, so you can see what they are if you're interested in planting some yourself.

Gail also installed a birdbath that's fed with our low-water-usage irrigation, since the station's landscape provides food and shelter for birds, but we weren't sharing the water that they need.

If you have any questions about WMNF's native Florida xeriscape, or want to join in on the next landscape workday, you can email greengang@wmnf.org.
