Sunday, May 11 2008 -- Sons of Norway Regatta Festival

Marauding Viking warriors, the Sons of Norway, race their Viking long boats at Philippe Park, Shelter 7 in Safety Harbor, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and commence celebration of Norwegian Independence Day on Saturday, May 17. Become Scandinavian for a day and feast with the ancients at an awards dinner-dance at Cove Cay. To make reservations for either lunch or dinner, contact S. Inman at 727-391-2333.
