Thursday, May 15 2008 -- Spring Butterfly Identification Seminar and Survey

There is a Butterfly Identification Seminar going on at Weedon Island Preserve to assist volunteers for the Spring Butterfly Survey. A representative from Pinellas' Environmental Lands Division teaches the skills needed to identify species of butterfly that frequent the Preserve. The seminar takes place in the main building at 7:00 pm in preparation for the assessment on May 17. Please call the Preserve at 727-453-6000 to preregister. The Preserve is located at 1800 Weedon Island Dr. NE, St Petersburg.
