Texas artist Sara Hickman is an irresistible, irrepressible spirit who is nearly impossible to categorize, with a musical style ranging from pop to jazz to folk to her own brand of whimsical music.
With her bubbly personality and quirky sense of humor, her children's shows sprinkle magic to the 4-8 crowd. She has three prize-winning childrens’ CD.

"Her kids concerts are funny funny -- she gets a couple of good old dads out of the audience & brings them on stage & proceeds to make them look silly -- the dads go along with everything -- their kids giggle but are embarrassed -- the wives & friends and the rest of the audience is in stitches.. in other words, adults - even without kids -- get a kick out of her kids concerts . of course the kids get a kick out of her too.. they enjoy her music & singing along & participating. her antics. i saw her do a kids concert last year at a park during the woody guthrie festival. she was at one end of the park -- there was a playground at the other end.. there were kids sliding & swinging & running around on the playground. as her show progressed, the playground kids started abandoning the swings & slides & began moving closer & closer to the music to see what the heck was going on.."
