WMNF's Florida Folk Show presents the return of the Florida-born and raised singer-songwriter-comedian Jim Stafford - he was raised in Winter Haven and in high school, he played in a band along with friends Bobby Braddock, Kent LaVoie (aka Lobo) and Gram Parsons (of the Byrds).
WILL-CALL opens at 7pm ~ Largo Cultural Center has # 40 remaining tickets at this time (6:30pm)...they will be $30 ~ Tix are NOT at regular 88.5FM ticket outlets.
The most talked about show in Branson is coming to Largo for WMNF. General genius whizbang musician and certified Doctor of Country Wacky-Cake Jim Stafford is at it again in 2009.
Add Jim's biggest record hits, awesome special effects, a heaping order of hilarious thingamabobs like flying saucers, and more surprises, and you have a show guaranteed to tickle audiences into submission.
We think it's not to be missed. You can even go to his website and watch his TV commercials, listen to his radio commercials or listen to favorite fun songs like Spiders and Snakes, Wildwood Weed, Swamp Witch, Mama Knows, Bojangles and Turn Loose of My Leg.
