The Ditchflowers and Friends perform Rubber Soul and Revolver in order and in their entirety song by song.
Rubber Soul “…it's arguably the most important artistic leap in the Beatles' career-- the signpost that signaled a shift away from Beatlemania and the heavy demands of teen pop, toward more introspective, adult subject matter. It's also the record that started them on their path toward the valuation of creating studio records over live performance” —Pitchfork
Rubber Soul was voted 5th on Rolling Ston e magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time”
Revolver is at number 1 in the All-Time Top 1000 Albums and number 3 in the Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time, The album is often regarded as one of the greatest achievements in music history and one of The Beatles' greatest studio achievements.
Now you can hear both LPs back to back, song by song in their entirety as performed by The Ditchflowers and friends, one of the best pop rock bands to ever interpret The Beatles. Featured on NPR’s “Open Mic” and in Performing Songwriter magazine, The Ditchflowers’ debut CD, Carried Away, garnered unanimous rave reviews from critics and fans alike. Creative Loafing called it “exquisite…sweet, timeless pop” while popmatters.com opined that “Carried Away’s 12 compositions are action packed with melody and lush instrumentation… the Ditchflowers strum, swoon, swing, and sway themselves into a prime spot in your music collection.”
Jeremy Thomas, Ricky Wilcox and Dean Johanson open the show with Beatles Songs.
