Larry Garner
As the recipient of dozens of blues awards, it's no wonder it's been said over and over that the Baton Rouge raised Larry Garner is one of contemporary blues finest. Garner's no-frills guitar style echoes B.B. King, but it's his fresh songwriting that makes him a major creative force.
Steve Arvey Horn Band
Be prepared for some Chicago style Windy City blues and rock with some great saxophone sounds. Steve has performed all over Europe, America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and with many of the world's top blues bands during his three decade career. Few performers can match his showmanship and the joy he brings to his audience because as a performer, while he's on stage he's having so much fun, the folks watching can't help but be effected by the sheer verve of the man.
Joel Sanders Band**
Furious guitar runs, strong melodic content and clean vocals delivered with complement raw, emotional energy, kind of like a modern Derek & the Dominos is what this longtime scene stalwart does and does so well. Sanders has been playing around these parts in tons of rock and groove-oriented bands (Black Honkeys, Freaks Rule, The Crunge, Basic Rock Outfit, Full Fldged Unit) for probably going on 20 years; this is his first more-or-less straight blues project.
R.J. Harman In Company
Richard “RJ” Harman has been playing the harmonica for six years and has already won numerous music awards and been featured in two full page article's in the Orlando Sentinel. His style is fresh and vibrant; he brings a youthful passion and a love of the Blues, Funk, Jazz, and Shake-a-billy to the stage.
Josh Lamkin & Automatic Heat
With music burning with soulful passion and rock and roll fire, Josh Lamkin & Automatic Heat deliver high energy original music, and an array of blues, rock, and country covers. Their live show is something you do NOT want to miss.
Will Vaughn
Will Vaughn aka Daddy V has been performing over 25 years with such legends as Bo Diddley, Gerald Levert, Bobby Blue Bland, Tyrone Davis, Marvin Sease, Freddy Jackson and more. He brings to the Blues Bash a soul revue: a combination of old skool Motown and new southern soul music.
Blues Pig
Sarasota's best blues band, six pieces with harp and sax and a devotion to the classic blues sound.
