Impact fees closer to finally increasing in Hillsborough County by Mitch E. Perry

Hillsborough County Commissioners are now one step away from raising impact fees for the first time in 19 years.

The Board is now poised to vote next Tuesday on raising impact fees from their current $196 fee to nearly $4,000 over the next 2 years.

The vote to move the issue forward passed 6-1 , with only Ronda Storms opposing.

Tampa Musician and newspaper editor Mike O’Neill has passed away.

The 42 year old O’Neill reportadley committed suicide last night by jumping off the Sunshine Skyway. He left a note for his sister.
