An 18-year-old Tampa man who has dozens of extended family members in the Gaza Strip learned Sunday that six of his nieces had died in an Israeli airstrike. Yusuf Dabus said the girls were killed in a strike on a Mosque near their home.
Dabus was born in the U.S. and when he was young moved to the same neighborhood in Gaza where his nieces were killed this week. When he was in fifth-grade, his family moved back to the U.S., long before some of his nieces were even born.
