A group of researchers is coming up with ways to make sure that people in the Tampa Bay area and throughout the world continue to have enough usable water. During an international research institute conference at USF this week, water experts mulled ways to keep water from becoming a scarce commodity.

But at a City Council workshop today, owners and employees of those establishments warned that move would hurt or kill their businesses. In Pinellas County there are four contested judicial races in August’s election. But only one of those includes an incumbent. Jack Day currently is the judge for the 6th Circuit Court Group 45 seat and is being challenged by assistant state attorney Agnes McCabe.
