An atheist group has rented a billboard in Tampa during next week's Republican convention.
The Freedom From Religion Foundation wants to tell visiting delegates to keep religion out of politics. In a press release they say the billboard will be displayed beginning today on Kennedy Boulevard west of Arrawana Street. It says "God fixation won't fix this nation."

Some forecast models predict Tropical Storm Isaac could affect Tampa during the Republican National Convention. Most of the secure area cordoned off for the event is in the first evacuation zone. Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn told CNN this morning that the city has been preparing for hurricane contingencies and will evacuate the area if needed.
