The day after George Zimmerman was acquitted in the Trayvon Martin case, a black man in Tampa, a Family Dollar store manager Horsley Shorter Jr. was shot dead by a robber who also black.

That literally hit home to Frank Reddick, who lived right around the corner from the incident. And so he talked about it at the end of a City Council meeting on July 18. He's now prepared to talk about so-called black on black violence with some community members in a town hall meeting soon.
