New statistics released yesterday from the National Low Imcome Housing Coalition, stated home ownership, or renting a single or two bedroom apartment, is financially out of reach for low-income families in the United States. EPC SUES CLEARCHANNEL-Andrew Stelzer

The Hillsborough county environmental protection commission has filed a lawsuit against clear channel entertainment and the Florida state fair to stop all concerts at the Amphitheatre at the Florida state fairgrounds. The suit is a reaction to 37 violations of noise standards during concerts, culminating with a show by the rock group Korn, that received over 60 complaints. INITIATIVE COULD OPEN STATE FUNDS FOR RELIGIOUS SCHOOLS - Mitch Perry

A sentence in Florida’s Constitution that forbids the state to use public money to “directly or indirectly� help religious institutions has been mentioned this week as a possible thorn in blocking the Pre-Kindergarten program approved by the Legislature yesterday.
