Admission is $3. The Holiday Bazaar showcases local artists, musicians, and free spirits of all ages in support of WMNF, which is celebrating its 30th year on the air in Tampa Bay. Visitors are invited to peruse a multitude of wares for hard-to-find treasures and holiday gifts. Besides myriad records, CDs, and books, local artists will be selling their one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted creations. WMNF members will get first crack at the treasures by being allowed into the venue at 8:30 a.m., ahead of the general admission time of 9:00 a.m. Anyone who wishes to become a member of WMNF should go to www.wmnf.org or call Gene Moore at 813-238-8001. It’s an opportunity to enjoy one of Florida’s divine winter days, outdoors, with like-minded people to the backdrop of live acoustic music and the smell of delectable treats from the vendors’ stands. Buying unique, one of a kind items, directly from local artist, is a lot more meaningful than going to the mall.
