EX-CIA OFFICIAL ON 9/11 REPORT - Mitch Perry
Jeffrey Smith served as General Counsel for the CIA in 1995 and 1996. WMNF spoke to him today about the 9/11 Report, the recent terror alerts, and why the root of terrorism is rarely discussed in American media.
We began by asking him about one of the major recommendations from the 9/11 Report that was endorsed - somewhat - by President Bush on Monday. That being the recommendation of having a National Intelligence Director....But critics note that the President wants to authorize the position - without giving the position budgetary authority.
