Barry Sears, PhD. author of THE OMEGA RX ZONE(Harper Collins). Sears says that Americans' high consumption of carbohydrates results in more cases of diabetes, ADD, arteriosclerosis, Alzheimer's, obesity and other chronic diseases. He says that his research shows that high doses of fish oil can counteract the results of a high carbohydrate diet. He also says that diets must be put back in balance with equal amounts of low-fat protein, carbohydrates, vegetables and fruits.
