Environmental organizaiton names Caloosahatchee River one of the 10 Most Endangered Rivers in the Country by Mitch E. Perry

The environmental group American Rivers released its 10 most Endangered Rivers List of 2006 today, and number 7 on the list is the Caloosahatchee River, located in Florida’s Southwest region.

Rebecca Wodder is President of American Rivers…Like recent articles about wetland in the ST. Petersburg Times, Wodder points the Army Corps of Engineers as one of the culprits in sending polluted water from Lake Okeechobee into the Calooshatchee (roll tape#1 o.q.�decision makers in the spotlight�)
