Best-selling author and national radio personality Thom Hartmann will speak at the new Largo Public Library in April, kicking off the Greater Largo Library Foundationâ€™s new Outstanding Author Series. Hartmann, the author of 14 books, will speak @ 11AM April 29, at the Largo Public Library, 120 Central Park Drive, in downtown Largo. He will primarily discuss his landmark work, The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight, a compelling documentation of the effects of overpopulation, ecodamage, genetic engineering, the re-emergence of virulent diseases, and more. His book is the inspiration for Leonardo DiCaprioâ€™s web movie Global Warning, The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight.
