Donalda Macdonald is president of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (Prince Edward Island division). She will come to Tampa this weekend to discuss the effects of the North American Free Trade Agreement on workers' jobs and pay levels in Canada since its passage. She says NAFTA has encouraged privatization and resulted in a lower standard of living and a decrease in service levels, especially in the Canadian health care system.
