WHERE DO YOUR TAX DOLLARS GO?

Anita Dancs, research director at the National Priorities Project has studied the federal budget and the president's tax cut proposals. She says that 26% of every tax dollar goes to pay for the military, 23% goes to interest on the debt. She said the Iraq war and the proposed tax cuts are likely to increase the federal budget deficits and have consequences for future generations.
