FLORIDA FAMILY POLICY COUNCIL LAUNCHES JUDICIAL ACCOUNTABILITY PROJECT AND VOTER GUIDE-Andrew Stelzer

People throughout the state of Florida who are running for a judgeship may have received an unexpected piece of mail recently—it’s a judicial questionnaire from the Florida Family Policy Council. The group, which campaigns against same sex marriage and abortion, and supports public religious displays and the teaching of intelligent design in schools, is distributing the questionnaire as the first part of their judicial accountability project. The candidates’ answers to questions will be compiled into a voter’s guide. Earlier today WMNF spoke to John Stemberger, the president and general council of the Florida family policy council, and asked him to explain the judicial accountability project.

That was John Stemberger is the president and general council of the Florida family policy council, speaking about the new Judicial accountability project his groups is launching. They have sent out questionnaires to judicial candidates and the deadline for those to be returned in August 14th. They are hoping that the guide to judges will be available to the public by the third week in August
