AN INTERVIEW WITH GRANNY D HADDOCK- ELECTION REFORMER
On Saturday, Aug. 26, celebrating the 86th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment (woman suffrage). It is a coalition of about 20 organizations operating under the umbrella name of the Friends of Susan B. Anthony (FoSBA). The group presents an award in her name to an outstanding woman activist in the community.
This year Doris "Granny D" Haddock will be the group's speaker. (See: http://www.grannyd.com). She's the 89 year old lady who walked across the U.S. in 1999 talking about election reform and encouraging voter registration. She lives in Dublin, NH.
