WMNF spoke with Rod Smith today. We began our conversation with the State Senator from Gainsville and Democratic candidates by asking about an incident yesterday at a Miami-Dade County Labor Day event.

Smith ripped into Davis for voting against providing compensation for 2 wrongfully convicted black men. That's when a black activist who supports Davis began heckling Smith, telling him to stop "race-baiting".
