Healthy Farms Food and Fuels Act by Mitch E. Perry09/14/06
Today in Washington, a bipartisan bill was introduced that advocates say will help farmers address the country’s energy crises. The bill’s aim is to boost funding for renewable energy development on farms, ranches and forest lands.
The bill, “The Healthy Farms, Foods and Fuels Act of 2006 is the first major agriculture bill introduced prior to the expiration of the current farm bill next year.
