THE U.S. CONSTITUTION AS VICTIM OF 9/11
Milton Hirsch is alarmed at what is happening to the system of laws in this country. He'll speak on the topic tonight in Sarasota. Hirsch received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and joined the Office of the State Attorney in Miami-Dade County Florida. He rose to assistant chief of narcotics prosecution. Since entering private practice, he has handled some of Miami's most notorious and controversial criminal cases. Mr Hirsch has been a prolific author, publishing principally on the subjects of the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendments. In this interview with WMNF he discussed the diminishment of constitutional rights since 9/11- including habeus corpus, protection against torture, prohibitions agianst secret evidence, etc.
