On October 28, 2006, the first ever Multiple Sclerosis Fitness Challenge/Health Fair will be held at the University of South Florida’s Sundome. The MS Fitness Challenge will be a healthy way to raise money and make a difference in the lives of over 400,000 people suffering from the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis. They will also have the opportunity to get information and screening on many different medical conditions including high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, dementia, headaches, and multiple sclerosis.

The idea for the event was conceived to raise money for MS research at the University of South Florida’s College of Medicine.

Our guest for this interview was Dr. Stanley Krolczyk, Assistant Professor of Neurology at USF. He discussed MS, its possible causes, the search for treatment, etc. Dr. Krolczyk is the founder of the MS Research Fund at USF and one of the principals behind the Fitness Challenge.
