EDDIE ADAMS OUT OF HOSPITAL BACK IN RACE by Roxanne Escobales
Today Congressional Republican candidate Eddie Adams was released from the hospital after a three-week stay. WMNFââ¬â¢s Roxanne Escobales reports.
Adams says heââ¬â¢s still in the race against Democrat Kathy Castor for the district 11 seat being vacated by Jim Davis. (roll tape o.q. ââ¬Åcouple weeks agoââ¬?
Around three weeks ago Adams found himself in the hospital with appendicitis. After his surgery his kidneys failed for no apparent reason and he ended up in the I-C-U. (roll tape oq ââ¬Åcouldnââ¬â¢t go any furtherââ¬?)
Eddie Adams still has some physical ailments such as leg clots but his illness has firmed his resolve to stay in the race. (roll tape o.q. ââ¬Åaffordable healthcareââ¬?)
Adams says as a Republican running in a traditionally Democratic district against a popular candidate, heââ¬â¢s targeting independents. His goal is to get 65,000 votes.comments powered by Disqus
