Fresh off her weekend trip to Iraq, New York Democratic Senator Hilary Clinton

Today called President Bush’s new plan to send more than 20,000 additional troops to Baghdad, “a losing strategy” and a “very bad mission” and proposing new limits and conditions on the overall war effort. Appearing on NBC’s Today Show with host Matt Lauer,  Clinton said she does not support the surge in troops, and instead, wants to limit the number of troops that might go to Iraq (roll tape#1 o.q.”for it to stop”) Clinton’s exposure on NBC and CBS, along with NPR,  in some ways slowed down the exposure that perhaps her chief rival for the Democratic nomination for President, Illinois Senator Barack Obama, was to receive after his announcement of the formation for an exploratory committee to run for President.    Mrs. Clinton was asked about her presidential plans on both NBC and CBS, and declined to say anything about her thinking or timetable. She was also asked about the decision by Senator Obama to form a presidential exploratory committee. He is expected to formally announced for the presidency next month.

Throughout 2006, Hillary Clinton was considered the dominant Democrat to run for President in 2008.  But because of concerns that some say she might be un-electable, there has been much discussion about the “Un-Hillary”….Some thought it might be Virginia Governor Mark Warner, before he dropped out last year.  Some thought it might be Indiana Senator Evan Bayh – but he too, dropped out last month.

Bay News 9 Political analyst Bob Buckhorn , whose political philosophy aligns closely with those 2 moderate Democrats, says that Barack Obama is NOT the Un-Hillary
