War Journalism Conference to take place in St. Pete by Mitch E. Perry
As the 4th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq approaches, supporters of the war effort continue to say that the media has not accurately reflected what‘s happening on the ground in Iraq. Or that’s what they used to say, before the sectarian violence escalated into what the National Intelligence Estimate calls a Civil War in Iraq.
Over the next couple of days in St. Petersburg, there will be conference on Journalists Th War taking place on the U.S.F- St. Pete campus.
Deni Elliot teaches Media Ethics at USF-St. Petersburg. (roll tape#1 o.q.”folks to the right venue”)The Journalists & War Conference will begin tonight, with a screening of the documentary” War Made Easy”.
