President Bush returned back to New Orleans & Long Beach Missisippi  yesterday, his 14th trip to the Gulf Coast since Hurricane Katrina made landfall on August 29th, 2005. Some elected officials saw the President’s trip as an effort to make amends for his failure to say anything about the devastating storm in his State of of The Union Address last January. Tonight in Tampa, at the Gasparilla Film Festival, the documentary “An American Opera “ screens.  The film looks at what happened to the tens of thousands of house pets who were left to die when their owners were forced to evacuate without them will be screened.     Tom McPhee is the Producer/Director of the film.  He came by the WMNF Studios this afternoon to speak about his film.  He said after he learned how huge the tragedy on the Gulf Coast was happening, he got in his car with his girlfriend and drove to Michigan to Louisiana  (roll tape#1 o.q.”            to music”)
