Poll: No easy winners on Property Tax question

A new poll shows what is painfully obvious – that Florida's homeowners are now concerned more about property taxes, insurance and crime than they are about education. But they’re not necessarily convinced a state House proposal to replace property taxes with a sales tax increase is a good solution.
That was the conclusion of a Florida International University phone-based poll conducted statewide earlier this month, shortly after State House Speaker Marco Rubio unveiled the tax-shift plan.
Last month, a Quinnipiac Poll showed contradictory views by Floridians regarding the Property Tax issue.
According to Dario Moreno, an Associate Professor of Political Science at Florida International University , this poll’s results are similar (roll tape#1 o.q.”of his administration”)
