Many WMNF listeners are familiar with the story of Maher Arar, a Syrian born Canadian Citizen. On the afternoon of September 26th, Arar was on his way home to Ottawa, Canada after a family vacation,when he deplaned at New York's JFK Airport -- and walked into a nightmarish history.Author Robert Rapley calls it a witch hunt. And he includes it in one of his chapters from his new book, “Witch Hunts:From Salem To Guatanamo Bay”, written by Canadian Robert Rapley. WMNF spoke with Robert Rapley late last month.
