On yesterday’s Evening News, we heard the first half of an interview with Tampa resident Mogtaba Maki, a refugee from Sudan living in Tampa. Maki’s Mother and some of his siblings are still living in a refugee camp outside of Cairo, Egypt. WMNF’s Seán Kinane begins the second half of this interview with Maki by asking if he is attempting to bring the rest of his family to the United States.

Outro: “ ... back almost in 2002.”

That was Mogtaba Maki, a refugee from Sudan living in Tampa, speaking with WMNF’s Seán Kinane on Wednesday, the United Nations designated World Refugee Day.
