State solar power czar ecstatic about energy initiatives
Yesterday Florida Gov. Charlie Crist announced he has installed solar panels on the roof of his mansion's pool house, saying he hopes to spur other Floridians to join him in reducing the use of carbon-emitting forms of energy.
The move comes just days after the governor convened a two-day conference on climate change where he made national news by signing several agreements to reduce carbon emissions in Florida.
Speaking at the Climate Change Summit in Miami last week was the director of the Florida Solar Energy Center, James Fenton.
WMNF spoke with Fenton today in a lengthy interview that we hope to bring to you in different segments. We asked him what his life has been like since the conclusion of the Summit last week.comments powered by Disqus
