WMNF Drive-Time News Friday | Listen to this entire show:

Aidan Delgado was a student in Sarasota when his Army Reserve unit was activated and sent to Iraq in 2003. He has written a book about his experience in the war and how he decided to become a conscientious objector, or CO.

The book, called The Sutras of Abu Ghraib – Notes from a Conscientious Objector in Iraq and has just been released in bookstores.

Delgado will speak in Sarasota on Sept. 4 and in Tampa on Sept. 6.

In the first part of our interview with Aidan Delgado last week, he described the graphic photographs taken by his fellow soldiers at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq.

We began the second part of the interview by asking Delgado whether he shares those photos with his American Audience when he gives lectures.

The final part of our interview will air next week.
