Dorris "Granny D" Haddock is the Dublin, N.H., native who gained fame when she walked from California to Washington, D.C., in 2000 to press the need for campaign reform. As part of her "Our Town Votes Project," Granny D is traveling around the country until the November 2004 election to register voters. She's spending time in Florida now and in February to register new voters, especially single women.
