Members of the NAACP from around Florida will march from the Capitol to the U.S. Attorney's office Tuesday in an attempt to bring pressure for federal charges to be filed against those cleared in the boot-camp trial in Panama City last week.
The Florida NAACP put out a call to its branches throughout the state to participate. There are 59 units statewide, including college and youth groups.
Chuck Hobbs is legal adviser to the state branch of the NAACP and the chair of the Legal Redress Committee for the Tallhassee branch of the NAACP.
