9/11 Commission Report - Part II
When the 9/11 Commission Report was published in 2004, it received raves and was nominated for a National Book Award.
New York Times reporter Philip Shenon has written a behind-the-scenes look at the many controversies that were ongoing inside the Commission, some of which is publicly known, much of it not.
Itâs all in his new book, The Commission: The Uncensored History of the 9/11 Commission.
In the second part of our interview, WMNF asked Shenon about former Florida Democratic Sen. Bob Grahamâs complaints.
Graham was on the Senate Intelligence Committee when Congress did its own investigation of the 9/11 attacks â a report that was issued before the independent 9/11 Commission was formed.
But Graham was extremely angry at the congressional report, because he believed it went unbelievedly soft on the Saudi government.comments powered by Disqus
