The Tampa Bay O-Train is a group supporting the presidential candidacy of Barack Obama. They say that there were more than 40 house parties organized in the Tampa Bay Area to watch last night’s election returns on television that raised about $12,000 for the Obama campaign.
WMNF attended the house party hosted by Pat Kemp, who was elected to be a Hillsborough County Obama delegate if Florida’s contingent is seated at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. Kemp is the wife of WMNF’s Program Director Randy Wynne. We got reactions to the early results from Patrick Cannon, the co-chair of the Tampa Bay O-Train, Kemp and Dave Cutler.
