Coming up is an interview with the author of a new biography of Albert Einstein, the first since all of his private papers became public. But first, some listener comments about last Thursday’s program on which we talked about high gasoline prices.

A century ago Albert Einstein, while working a government patent office in Switzerland, released several scientific papers that set the groundwork for photoelectric cells, television, nuclear power and lasers, space travel and semiconductors. Our guest is Walter Isaacson, who has written a biography of Albert Einstein.

Isaacson is currently the CEO of the Aspen Institute, and has been chairman and CEO of CNN and managing editor of Time magazine.
