Former Tampa Mayor Sandy Freedman is a strong Hillary Clinton supporter. She attributes the fact that so many superdelegates have chosen Clinton over Barack Obama to the power of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Freedman is not happy with the decision to cut Florida’s congressional delegation in half, and she’s as unhappy as Clinton advisor Harold Ickes about how the delegate breakdown came out in Michigan.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is a de facto Obama surrogate. She has concocted the rule that superdelegates should follow the pledged delegates and endorse Obama. Following Pelosi's cockeyed rule, the pledged delegates would serve no purpose. The true function of the superdelegates require them to use their independent judgment, with no regard for the pledged delegates, in selecting the best qualified presidential candidate. De facto Obama surrogate Pelosi is helping to swipe the Democratic nomination for Obama.
