Barack Obama's campaign today said it rejected a comment made by Gen. Wesley Clark about John McCain yesterday on CBS’s Face the Nation.
Today, the McCain campaign launched a "Truth Squad" - a group of political and Vietnam contemporaries who will counter attacks on the senator's military record.
Col. Bud Day was a prisoner of war with John McCain, who was part of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth squad that that attacked Sen. John Kerry's own Vietnam record four years ago. WMNF spoke with Day this afternoon, and asked him if the Obama campaign comment mollified him at all.
