Radioactivity: Live Call-In (Thursday) | Listen to this entire show:
Good afternoon, welcome to WMNF's Radioactivity…I’m Rob Lorei… coming up today we’ll hear about a new, local micro-loan program for immigrants.
But first, we received a lot of comments about yesterday’s open phone program. A lot of the comments were about energy, third parties and the upcoming presidential election. Here’s what some listeners had to say.
First up we’ll meet the founder and president of project prosper- a local non profit which provides micro-loans to documented immigrants to ease their integration into our community. The group also teaches financial literacy to recent immigrants. It's begun opeartions in Pinellas County but hopes to expand to Hillsborough County.
Our guests are the president of Project Prosper, Robin Warren, who has 21 years experience in the banking industry and the founder of Project Prosper, Ann Haendel. Ann is a veteran of working with NGO's in developing nations and Robin has 21 years experience as a banking executive.
